Architect’s own concept of a three-storey office building for TME.
Created based on a study of alternative solutions matching the Investor’s particular aesthetic requirements and the terrain conditions.
Due to it being situated near an expressway, the building can only be seen under two drastically different circumstances:
- by people standing very close to the building and possessing unlimited time
- by people driving at high speeds on the northern lane of the expressway, who can only see the building for a brief moment, “out of the corner of their eye”.
The investor’s wish was for the office building – the company’s headquarters – to look great in both of these situations.
This is why the TME office building is a minimalist shape featuring finely-tuned proportions.
The facade design includes two contrasting textures: a broad, dark glass “tape” coiling around the seemingly moving facade – when walking around the building, the three-dimensional “skin” of the building, made up of light-coloured verticals, appears to shift.
The building’s rich interior is enclosed in a clear and functional layout.
The office features attractive interiors with exemplary parameters, which help improve the mood of its users.
