In our search for inspiration, we went back in time to when the townhouse was originally built – the early 19th century. To rigorously preserve the past seemed unnatural to us, however, which is why we decided to strike a balance between the old and the new with regard to the style of the interiors. We renovated the old floor and joinery elements, and used noble materials such as glass, gres tiles, as well as stylish wallpaper and furniture. We used colour sparingly – black and white highlight the classic, old elements and evoke a modern feel. When designing the bathrooms and entrance halls, the designers successfully employed a mirrored effect.
