A new, multi-purpose auditorium for 400 people, a foyer, exhibition rooms, cafes added to the existing building complex of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Łódź; an architectural concept based on the audience arches of the Greek theatre – an amphitheatre-like layout.
The comprehensive approach of the architects to shaping this part of the campus resulted in another project for an office and teaching building which neighbours the five-storey auditorium.
We created a design for its modernisation and renovation, in addition to a new walkway between the Faculty’s buildings on the first floor. It encompassed all parts of the building with the exception of its frame: utilities, facades, finishing materials, new partitions, interior design, as well as a land development plan for the building’s surroundings.
