Location:Łódź
Client:Łódź Community Centre
Area:1200 m2
Design:2009 - 2010 architect’s own design with a functional-utility programme of execution
Architect’s own concept, functional programme, investment schedule, cost assessment of the alteration of the interiors of the historical building of the Łódź Community Centre, which is a great example of interwar Łódź architecture (designed by Wiesław Lisowski). The entrance areas of several entrances to the building, as well as the Column Room (with the adjacent rooms) were altered.

The design documentation was drawn up in accordance with the EU funds audit standards.

The goal was to highlight the building’s architectural features and achieve flexibility of space for the purposes of various types of artistic activity: concerts, theatre plays, dance shows, exhibitions, an art gallery. The concept introduced an important correction to the internal traffic in order to create a common entrance area and make the building disability-friendly.
