Anna Grabowska,

architect, graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the Lodz University of Technology.

After graduation, Anna spent several years working for prominent design firms in Germany, creating numerous designs (in the Frankfurt am Main area, Mainz and Wiesbaden) and acquiring an extensive knowledge of architecture.

She is the founder and co-owner of AGG, established in 1995, which she manages together with her daughter, architect Matylda Grabowska.

Anna is the author and co-author of several dozen designs and projects, many of which have become icons of Łódź, for example the widely acclaimed restoration design for the 19th-century Ludwik Grohman factory - now the seat and conference centre of the Lodz Special Economic Zone (1st place at the Munich Real Expo 2014 fair) and the alteration design of the old Próchnik factory - now the CROSS POINT office building (Prime Property Prize 2013 Łódź - for the best office building and the PLATINUM DRILL 2010).
Anna Grabowska - AGG

She designed Poland’s first and so far only F-16 aircraft base at the airports in Łask and Krzesiny, as well as the headquarters of SEW Eurodrive Polska in Łódź, which received the SARP award. In 2010, she was awarded with the prestigious title of “Professional Manager of Łódź Province”, and joined the “TOP 15: WOMEN IN POLISH ARCHITECTURE” list in 2015. She also represented AGG at the 2016 edition of the Łódź Design Festival, where our firm was named one of the top 7 architectural firms in Poland. Together with Matylda Grabowska, she is the initiator and co-author of AGG’s own publications on the history of the firm’s major projects.

She is also the initiator of several campaigns aimed at promoting Łódź architecture, in addition to organising meetings and lectures on AGG projects and local architecture, as well as participating in social campaigns benefiting schools and numerous other organisations.

Anna is a member of the Łódź District Chamber of Architects. She was a member of the Council of the Łódź District Chamber of Architects during its first term since the establishment of the Polish Chamber of Architects. Anna Grabowska follows the rule that a good design requires proper assessment of the needs of the client and depends on the conditions of the site. This allows her to transform her projects into “works of architecture”. AGG’s clients know that our designs guarantee success.
